Parasite Control for your Alpaca Herd

In the face of information learned by parasitologists and veterinarians over the past few years; alpaca owners need to revisit their thoughts and protocols on parasite control and herd heatlh. In the past our accepted protocol was that of banket-use of preventative de-wormers on our entire herd at regular intervals. What we have found is that despite our best efforts - which were based on industry standards and recommendation by veterinarians, we still saw the development of resistant parasites.
